French vodka called Cîroc is produced using grapes from the Gaillac and Cognac areas. Cîroc undergoes five separate distillations to create an incredibly smooth vodka following an inventive cold fermentation method. Cîroc is one of the most distinctive vodkas available, and it will stay with you.Although Cîroc is distilled from grapes, you won't experience a strong grape flavor when sipping this vodka; instead, you'll taste some subtle fruity undertones. Take note of the orange and anise flavors, and savor the sumptuous spirit's crisp finish.Yes, you can have a Cîroc. But why not include it in a drink with a celebrity theme? Try the Lola, which has pomegranate juice and a dash of bubbly, or The Diddy, which contains equal parts Cîroc and lemonade. Whatever method you choose to drink it, this vodka is perfect for special occasions.Frozen grapes are used to make cîroc. Specifically, Ugni Blanc from the Cognac region and Mauzac Blanc from the Gaillac region of France. The grapes used to make Cîroc are distilled separately five times before being combined and distilled once more. While the Mauzac Blanc grape is distilled in a copper continuous still, the Ugni Blanc grape undergoes its first four distillations in a stainless steel column still.Once done, they are combined (a recipe consisting of 95% Ugni Blanc and 5% Mauzac Blanc) and given a fifth round of distillation in a copper pot still.
