Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban has been one of the favorite budget single malts since you previously reviewed the 12-year-old version (which was replaced by the 14-year-old version) back in 2013. The finish of the product is medium-short. The rancio note returns, alongside somewhat bitter walnut and charcoal notes. The finish is should less sweet than the sense of taste however holds a similar element. It blurs rapidly, however, leaving simply an unclear dusty grape-skin note.
