In a small town in Germany, Wolfgang Franz Otto Blass was born in 1934, and he happened to run away from school. His parents wanted him to begin a 3-year winemaking process or get back to the class. So, he initiated a journey that revamped the winemaking world.

 After analyzing Champagne systems in France in 1957, Wolf came up as one of the youngest people for the first time to graduate with a Masters in Oenology (Wine Science) from Veitschoechheim-Wuerzburg. 

In 1959, he moved to England to study the art of mixing before migrating to the Barossa Valley in 1961, deciding against a move to Venezuela. In 1966, he founded Wolf Blass Wines. Wolf Blass Wines, founded in 1966, has emerged from a humble tin shed to create one of the world’s most progressive and awarded wineries. 

 Nowadays, Wolf Blass wines are exported to more than 50 countries and are internationally known as signs of contemporary winemaking. 

 The components of Wolf Blass wines are demonstrated through the desire of its guardians, past and present, as they endure to make wines of character, quality, and consistency. Initially, it was recognized for Wolf Blass real estate purchase; Bilyara is the Australian-based aboriginal word for eaglehawk. 

Nowadays, the picture of the eaglehawk is interrelated with Wolf Blass wines across the world. Crafted with care and skill from exclusive vineyards, Bilyara is a variety of fruit-driven wines, likewise enjoyable with or without food.
