This gorgeous Yamazaki 12 Year Old is a fine specimen of the Japanese whisky family which is best known for its finely balanced sweetness which is a hit among both beginners and experts in the whisky universe alike. 

Upon smelling, this drink gives out tones of Maple syrup, white grapes, and honeysuckle coming together to dispense a soft and spicy character in the nose. On tasting, one experiences spicy flavors combined with caramel, orange, and cinnamon toast which eventually leave a grape and pineapple finish in the mouth.

Yamazaki is drunk throughout the world in more ways than one, some people like it neat, while some take it twice up, and a lot of people are appeased by having it in highballs or other cocktails, this can vary on individual taste, but one thing that we really want you to try is pairing it with food! We know that’s not the first instinct to have whisky with food, but Japanese whisky, particularly Yamazaki paired with let’s say sushi will rock your world.
